What is the difference between CPA, CPL and CPS campaigns
I always wondered what is the difference between CPA, CPL and CPS campaigns, finally I found my answer.
There are three types of offer that main affiliate websites promotes CPA, CPL and CPS.
CPA (Cost Per Action) offers pay Affiliates a set commission each time a visitor they send to the offer completes a required action. For example, purchase the product or deposit funds.
CPL (Cost Per Lead) offers pay Affiliates a set commission each time they send a lead to the offer. In order for the commission to be awarded, the visitor usually has to submit information such as an email or telephone number.
CPS (Cost Per Sale) offers pay Affiliates a percentage share of any sales the Affiliate sends to the offer.
The main notable difference for Affiliates between offer types is that CPA and CPL offers are not directly affected by refunds or chargebacks, whereas CPS commissions that you earn will automatically be deducted if the customer refunds their purchase.
